学位论文是研究生三年学习阶段的重要成果，而论文答辩则是检验该成果的关键一环，同时也是检验研究生培养质量的重要环节。化学与化工学院按照学校要求，于6月20日前顺利组织完成了2020届硕士研究生学位论文答辩工作。
本次硕士学位论文答辩全部采用线下方式进行,共分4个答辩小组，聘请14位校内外专家担任答辩评委，部分在读研究生、学院研究生教学秘书旁听观摩。
受新冠肺炎疫情影响，此次学位论文答辩前，学院专门下发了《化学与化工学院关于做好2019-2020学年第二学期研究生学位论文答辩工作安排》通知，并向所有研究生导师、答辩秘书、硕士毕业生强调了疫情防控要求。
各答辩小组严格履行我校研究生论文答辩程序，答辩委员会委员以高度负责的治学态度和严谨规范的学术精神，全面考察毕业生们对专业知识和研究领域前沿技术的掌握程度，对学位论文严格把关，明确提出了存在的问题及修改建议。
6月24日，学院在雁塔校区学院办公区324会议室召开了化学与化工学院学位分委员会会议，审议通过、并向校学位评定委员会建议授予15位研究生工学硕士学位、4位研究生工程硕士学位，同时评审推荐了2020年校级优秀硕士学位论文。19位同学的硕士学位已经7月7日学校学位评定委员会表决通过。
